Two fixing principles

Jointless NVF1 and grouted-joint NVF2.

The MARROB catalogue documents two ventilated-facade cladding families. Selection is validated against geometry, setting-out, substructure, loads and site conditions.

NVF1 · Tongue-and-groove · no wet joint

NVF1

Tongue-and-groove · no wet joint

The element has a front recess that defines the joint and fixing tabs for the substructure. Mechanical fixing allows individual elements to be replaced without removing adjacent pieces.

  • Installation without grouting or wet processes
  • Straight, corner, vertical and reinforced elements
  • Ventilated cavity for moisture removal
NVF2 · Kerfed · with grouted joint

NVF2

Kerfed · with grouted joint

Longitudinal edge grooves engage metal rails. After installation, joints are filled with a dedicated mortar that conceals the fixing and visually unifies the facade plane.

  • Expression close to traditional brickwork
  • Continuous joint integrates individual elements
  • Straight, corner, vertical and reinforced elements

Product information from the MARROB NVF catalogue published on 25 Aug 2026. It does not replace project-specific calculation, detailing or approval.

MARROB Mineral · handmade production

Ten base formats for NVF2.

The handmade range coordinates straight pieces, corners, vertical and reinforced elements. Colour, texture and special pieces can be developed for the project, subject to manufacturing validation.
